About Born in 1973 in Ankara, Dr Selim SÖZEN entered Ondokuz Mayıs Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1998. Then he completed his specialisation in Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic and became a General Surgery Specialist in 2004. Between 2004-2013, he took part in the training staff in the Training and Research Hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health and contributed to the training of many new colleagues. In 2013, he became an Associate Professor of General Surgery. He worked at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University between 2013-2016. In 2016, he left his post here and established a private clinic in Istanbul. Since 2019, he has established a private clinic in Tekirdağ and is still working in this clinic. He has many publications in national and international journals. He is still continuing his academic studies.
